With the cooler days of the season now upon us, it's safe to say the heat has been cranked up in most of our homes! But, before the chilliest days arrive, be sure to replace your furnace filter to ensure it is working as efficiently as possible. A clean filter will effectively remove the dirt and allergens from the air in your home, while also preventing furnace shut-downs due to clogging or dirt build-up. - Clean or replace HRV or humidifier filter (if applicable)
- Check teleposts for adequate tightness
- Inspect all interior plugs and switches are working properly
- Check roof for missing shingles. If you live within a condominium, please notify your property manager regarding any missing shingles.
- Check exhaust fans for snow build-up around hot water tank and furnace vents. If you live within a condominium, please notify your property manager regarding any build up.
