The easy days of summer have officially arrived! June means more sun, more fun and more heat! If your home includes an air conditioning unit, now is the time to give it a proper inspection to ensure it will be working properly when the temperature begins to rise! Be sure to adjust the vents according to the summer season, have the compressor in a level position, and clean the filter. - Clean or replace furnace filter, HRV or humidifier filter (if applicable)
- Check roof for missing shingles. If you live within a condominium, please notify your property manager regarding any missing or lifted shingles.
- Check outbuildings (shed)
- Clean range hood/OTR filter
- Check sump pump to ensure that it is operating properly
