Here come the May flowers...and your May Home Maintenance Checklist!
- Clean or replace furnace filter, HRV or humidifier filter (if applicable)
- Check caulking on window, door, and casing
- Clean range hood/OTR filter
- Check teleposts for adequate tightness
- Lawn preparation (aerating, fertilizing, top dress your grass by adding seeds). If you live within a condominium all lawn preparation is maintained by the property manager
- Check weather stripping on all exterior doors for a good seal
- Check sump pump to ensure that it is operating properly
- Clean all window wells
